💡 Photographer Matthew's Note: The mermaid dress is narrower at the bottom, so kids walk a bit slower in it. We usually shoot standing and seated poses first, then do the full-body lying pose last. Don't worry about posing — Natalie guides every child naturally!

The mermaid princess scene is perfect for ages 1-7:

1-2 years: Mainly seated poses, using the shell chair and pearl orb as props
3-5 years: The sweetest age! They pose, interact with props, and have the richest expressions
6-7 years: Can do more "storytelling" poses like making wishes and exploring
